On the auspicious occasion of the Puttur Mahalingeshwara Brahmarathotsava, free distribution of drinking water took place in front of the temple by the Puttur Advocates Association, Saraswathi Charitable Trust and Dwaraka Prathistana(R.) in collaboration. This is being done from past 5 years. The inauguration of the free water distribution was done by Justice Lata Devi, former judge in puttur and currently serving as a judge in Kolara, Maluru Court. Mr. Devi Prasad K, Trustee of Saraswathi Charitable Trust and Mr. Bhaskara Kodimala, former president of the Advocates Association, addressed the gathering. The event witnessed the presence of Mr. Gopalakrishna Bhat A, President of Dwaraka prathistana(R.), Mr. Vasantha E, Chief Administrator of Saraswathi Credit Co-operative society, Mr. Krishnappa Gowda Kakve, Vice-President of the Advocates Association and many others. The occasion was warmly welcomed by Advocate Deepak Boluvar and acknowledged by Mr. Chinmay Rai, Chief executive of the Advocates Association.
